Keep coding, keep working, keep dreaming, and keep creating!
Hey there!
I spent a lot of years writing code as a kid with dreams of becoming a video game developer, and even though I didn’t, it was the best time that I spent. What you get from learning to code will help in every part of your life.
I learned how to solve problems.
I learned how to look at things differently.
I learned how to lead projects.
I learned how to communicate with everyone around me.
I learned how to dream big and make it happen.
All of those things got me to where I am today.
My code took me to study computer science, then computer animation, then a degree in playwriting. Who would have thought that wanting to make the next Mario Bros. would lead to me having a play I wrote open off-Broadway!
If I could give you one piece of advice, don’t just focus on coding, continue to read, do art, listen to every type of music, philosophy, mythology, etc.
Those are the languages that you will code with.
The code that you are writing is not about the project that you are working on, you are writing the code of your future and it has infinite options.
Keep coding, keep working, keep dreaming, and keep creating!
