Hello There,
My journey into STEM started with Telecommunications. I began my journey working as a Field Technician at Comcast. This introduced me to IT Networking. From there I started to work at Verizon FiOS as a Field Technician which allowed me to learn even more about Networking. Before being in the role that I’m currently in I had a chance to work at a bank doing Cloud related things.
My experience working in STEM is centered around Technology but there are a ton of opportunities in the Science, Engineering and Math fields as well. Not only can these fields provide you with a nice quality of life, they all are mentally stimulating as well. If you enjoy learning and solving problems, STEM is for you.
We need a more diverse group of people in this field and I encourage you to learn more about it.
