First, I just want to congratulate you on making the decision to take this journey! STEM leaders are so incredibly important today, and as black STEM leaders, the difference that you’re going to make is so incredibly important. Coding is such a vital skill to have in today’s world and it will take you as far as you want to go as long as you put the work in. Study hard, create goals for yourself, and then stop at nothing until those goals are achieved regardless of how difficult or unattainable they may seem. Anyone who has ever achieved something great faced obstacles along the way. What matters most is that you face those challenges head on. I wish nothing but the best for you! There’s nothing more honorable than being willing to take a bet on yourself!
