Did you know that approx 3.7 million students are projected to have graduated from high school in 2021? And many of them will move onto college and into the workforce. But not all of them will have technical skills such as the ones you are developing in coding.
Keep up your good work and studies as you pursue coding so as to set yourself apart in a brave new way. Today, women represent only 12% of all computer science graduates.
You are highly sought after and needed in our workforce and the technology industry. You CAN and WILL make a difference within your community and the world. There is a growing need for web design, and mobile development with high-touch interaction and for those who have the know-how, to help lead those considering this endeavor.
If you are able to find a local group or organization or even peers to help you maintain your interest in coding, hold you accountable and challenge you to expand your knowledge in this industry, you will do great things.
