Black girls are the future.

I am a leader at Verizon who has been working here for over 20 years. I am so encouraged to see black girls taking an interest in STEM. Years ago we were told this was a job for boys and men; well I am here to tell you that was not the right mindset. Black girls are the future, have the talents and the skills to be successful in codeing.
Keep it going! You are leading the way for other beautiful, intelligent black girls. Don’t give up we need you in this space. Make sure you continue to shine your light. It is going to take hard work and dedication to see it through but you have what it takes. Don’t allow anything to get in your way. We need you to share your stories with other black girls so they can see the future and use their minds and talents just like you are doing today.
STEM is the future and you are a part of it.
