Remember, no question is a dumb question!
Hey there!
I just wanted to take the time today to share a few study tips and give some advice on school! I know how going to school can cause a lot of different emotions and can be overwhelming at times. I just want to go over a few things that I did in school that helped me.
The first thing that helped me was getting a calendar and planning everything ahead. If you're in college or even high school, get the syllabus from all your classes and get all of the due dates for different things such as test days, projects, etc and put them into your calendar. This will allow you to keep track of everything and you won't forget about important assignments! It might be a lot at first, but it's always good to have a visual of what the semester is going to look like. AVOID PROCRASTINATION!
The second thing that helped me through school was learning different study methods. You need to find what works best for you. Flashcards were my favorite way to study! You can also try rewriting notes or even finding study groups! I would also recommend studying more information than what your teacher/professor went over in class. You never know what information could pop up on quizzes or tests.
The last thing that helped me through school was participating in class and always asking questions! Participating in class allows you to understand and engage in the material more. Asking questions is a big one because it’s always important to ask questions when you don’t understand something, that way you can ensure you are interpreting the information correctly. Remember, no question is a dumb question!
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter! I hope that you find these tips helpful.
