Growth and development in technology.

Hey there TechDiva!

My name is Anila and I have been working with Verizon in GTS for past 15 years.

Going further back, I am originally from Pakistan and graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering in 2001 from the most reputable Engineering University in Pakistan. At that time, it was very rare for girls to go in engineering field. This allowed me to build relationships and grab more learning opportunities that were present to a student in United States. Through that I further enhanced my I would admit the job market here looks up for field experience even from fresh graduates, but through persistence and overcoming several failures, I was able to land a job after 6 months of graduating.

I would strongly encourage you all to take this step. There is plenty of scope for growth and development for women in the technology field, with the flexibility to work from home.
