Failure isn’t something to be feared.

Hey there!

Choosing an education or career in STEM means that you are embarking on an incredible journey of inspiration and innovation. The giants that came before you lit the torch, but it is your determination, your intelligence, and your potential that carry it forward now, into a brighter future for all of humanity. Each line of code is a reflection of your creativity and your perseverance. Each written program, the possibility of progress and inclusion that only your unique perspective can bring.

It won't be easy. There is so much to learn, and once you do, technology changes so fast. The road from the fundamentals of coding to groundbreaking discovery is paved with many miles of trial and error. There are other obstacles on the path, challenges around the corner, and failure is an inevitable detour we all must take along the way.  But forget what the world tells you about it. Failure isn’t something to be feared. Listen, instead, to your inner voice. The one that believes passionately in the power of your purpose. The courageous voice telling you that your contribution to this greater cause is so much better because you learned from failure and you believe in yourself because of it. The voice so confident in your significance that it shatters barriers beneath the sheer force of your will to succeed.

You got here because you dared to dream about living your life on your terms, because you refuse to be defined or limited by anyone, in any way. You are a force for good, a force for progress, a force for innovation, and a force to be reckoned with.

I believe in you!
