Hey There!
I am excited you may be thinking about a career in technology and/or science. YAY! I was not encouraged to study programming or the sciences when I was young. I know, really weird – right?
If I could go back in time, I would be front and center in code classes. I work in emergency management (intel analysis in the past, etc.) at this time. If I were to go back to school, I would love to learn more about Cybersecurity. I like the idea of protecting our networks and keeping them safe from anyone who tries to hack them and do bad things.
You have incredible options to learn and share your work with great companies (or start your own) in the future! Keep studying. Keep working. I know it is hard, but nothing gives that fantastic feeling of “I did it” than hard work or succeeding at something that was challenging. Don’t give up!!
I can’t wait to see what you choose to study and what you end up doing. I promise you that coding (STEM studies) will open so many doors and provide you with great opportunities.
