My name is Ericka and I am happy you have an interest in a STEM career.
I have always appreciated STEM growing up but was not fortunate to have such a group of like minded peers to share my enthusiasm.
Use this opportunity to try to explore as many career paths in STEM as you can. You will find you can use STEM in everyday living so it's not just a career path it’s a way of living. Throughout life you will use critical thinking skills and problem solving for other parts of your life. Use the same skills for other course work in school.
Stay the course. You will find your calling in a STEM career. I would also encourage you in your studies to collaborate whenever you can. This was the only time I was able to work with others that shared the same goals in learning. You can push each other to get through those difficult projects and course work. Whenever you are having doubts go back to the beginning where you discovered your interest. Talk to your like minded peers. Read these letters! You are the TechDiva always remember that.
