Congratulations in advance on your future successes in STEM!
I was about 11 when my interest in technology began to peak. I would spend hours adding designs, music and colorful marquees to my MySpace page. I had no idea that
I was coding until much later in high school. This skill paved the way for a career in the technical field very early in life. I did not attend a university however the experience I obtained allowed me to better understand how things work and what’s needed to fix them.
I have spent 20 years now working in a technical capacity for several companies and still studying to further these endeavors.
Please be sure to stay encouraged. The field I am in does not have many faces that resemble you and I. Do not let that be a deterrent, instead let it be motivation. Motivation for everyone who admires your intellect and the little girls who will come after you.
