You may have some curiosity about the field of STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - by reading my message. I assure you that while it may sound boring or uninteresting STEM careers are some of the most important on the planet! Think about all the technology you use everyday (internet, apps on your phone, remote learning, shopping, etc) in your daily life. Without smart, curious and interested people, none of these daily conveniences would be possible without STEM knowledge.
Enhancing our lives in the future and making it a more inclusive world will only continue with the extensions of technical capability - how exciting and interesting would it be to be a part of building this better world? You can (and should) really consider STEM learning to become a part of this interesting time we are living in!
The future will be a reflection of the people who dedicate their time and attention to making it a better place to exist. Advances in technology will need people like each of you to create, develop and drive progress. If you are considering any particular course or concept in STEM education, I encourage you to boldly take on the challenges and concepts - you will eventually learn it and accelerate that understanding!
As far as a career, I feel very fortunate to work for a company that values humans and creates opportunities for us to thrive and be our best. It is so exciting to be part of a team that is changing the word with developing and deploying tools that help people. There are many career options in STEM fields and there is likely an area where you can excel. Focus on your learning today can help you have a satisfying career in advancing society through STEM capabilities.
