Trust yourself!
Hey there!
Way to go on choosing such a fun and challenging hobby or career with coding. When I was younger, the only coding experience I had was fiddling and changing the music or color on my Myspace page! Now women all over the world are changing their lives by learning how to code and creating meaningful contributions to society. Coding is EVERYWHERE! Computers speak in 0’s and 1’s – wouldn’t it be easier if humans would be able to do that instead of trying to translate each other's words? There would definitely be a change in how we teach and communicate with each other. Congratulations on choosing the STEM path, there is SO much to learn out in the world and STEM can take you anywhere you want to go in life! I’ll leave you with a tip, I found that listening to classical music, or music without lyrics/singing helped me focus. I could hum along with the melody without getting lost in thought about what the song really means. The best advice I can give you is to trust yourself. Find what you enjoy and have a passion for and follow that path. If it’s computers, math, physics, engineering follow your instinct!
