My name is Tim. I work with Verizon Communications. I have worked for this company for over 30 years. I have had so many opportunities to advance my career. Our company is focused on giving back to younger people, who will be the future of our company.
Here are a few tips I would share to pursue your own career and aspirations. First in school, I would take as many math classes. So many companies require people to be able to do analytics as part of their job. Also, make sure to take courses that encourage group discussion. Many employees will work together across departments on projects. Last, make sure you focus on your writing & presentation skills. These skills will be critical when you have the opportunity to present your projects to your leadership.
It is important to focus on your studies. It is important to make sure your grades are excellent. In addition to class studies, take advantage of all opportunities to volunteer and join clubs. This shows your leadership skills and initiative.
